What I Love About Bug Repellent

This Bug Repellent is something I formulated about 15 years ago, and was part of my personal care product range, “Truly Inspired!” 

Sadly, this range no longer exists, but I do have my recipe book… and bit by bit, you might just notice them reappearing (let me know if you are after anything in particular, and I’ll see what I can do).

But back to keeping those bugs at bay - especially now there’s an influx after the rains and floods.

If you’re like me and have an aversion to using chemicals, especially on my skin, then this might just be what you’re after…

And as a mozzie-magnet, I needed to use something as I was prone to getting bitten and ended up with nasty reactions and bites that lasted for weeks.

As a family, we’ve used this for years - and found it especially helpful for camping trips. I remember sitting in our camp chairs at dusk and watching the mozzies come about 5 cm away from us and our pups - it was like a magical mossie forcefield.

Something else that I love about it is - it repels bugs, not loved ones. Unlike the mainstream ones that have that harsh horrible chemical smell, this actually smells nice!

It contains essential oils and I make for you when you order it using my tried and tested formulation.

What Is In It?

What you get: 50 ml of Bug Repellent in a blue glass bottle with a plastic spray nozzle

(Blue glass is especially good at protecting the integrity of essential oils - so that is why it’s blue!)

Bug Repellent contains water, eucalyptus hydrosol, essential oils of eucalyptus, geranium, lavender, pennyroyal, peppermint, rosemary & tea tree.

How to Use Your Bug Repellent

Shake well before use.

Spray it around the room or onto your clothing.

NOTES

• Store it below 30oC and out of direct sunlight.
• Don’t spray it on or around food!
• In the unlikely event of an irritation, discontinue use.
• Do NOT use in a diffuser or oil burner.
